Getting to the Root of Excitement Points in Roller Coaster Kingdom

Roller Coaster Kingdom Secrets

There are a lot of measurements in Roller Coaster Kingdom that will determine various factors such as how fast you level, how many coins you make, how your visitors feel about your park and how your neighbors interact with your park. But, one of the more confusing ones, largely because it does not appear in many other Facebook games, is that of excitement points.

Excitement points are a way of measuring how engaged your visitors are with any one particular point. If those points are high, the ride will be popular. If the points are low, the ride will not and you will gain less cash. But you need to balance the points with how many rides you have and how much they cost because, before you reach level 25, you also need to get a lot of experience points to level up.

Balancing the Excitement Points

Excitement points are great if your only goal is to get more coins. But, they are not so great if you want to have more XP per ride. The key here is to maintain a good balance between them. If you are focusing on leveling, your goal should be to have only as many excitement points on each ride as is necessary to keep your visitors from growing bored. Too many and you start earning far too much of their money per ride. Because you only get 1 XP per ride, no matter how exciting it is, this can be a problem and can lead to a very long grind to Level 25 if you are not careful.

How to Max out Excitement Points at Level 25

Once you reach Level 25 though, forget everything you just learned because you want to get as many excitement points as possible. Reach for the stars and get your upgrades. This means having as many neighbors as possible and making sure that the rides you have will top out at high EP levels where they will engage as many visitors as possible.

When you reach Level 25, you want to have the most exciting, entertaining theme park around. If you fail to do that, you will probably never get that super high rating you’re looking for in your park. However, you must balance how you manage your excitement points when you are still at a lower level so that you can gain the XP you need to level up. If you can do both of those things successfully, you will find that excitement points are a fun addition to the game that makes building your park a much deeper experience.

When to Upgrade Restrooms and Food Carts in Roller Coaster Kingdom

Roller Coaster Kingdom Secrets

The bathrooms and food carts in Roller Coaster Kingdom are very important pieces of the puzzle that are going to allow you to expand your park exponentially and keep all those visitors happy long enough to get some solid returns on your investments. If you fail to upgrade them, you’re going to have unhappy customers who cannot find something to eat or somewhere to do their business. That’s going to hurt your park rating and it’s ultimately going to lose you valuable coins. So, as you can imagine, getting those food carts in Roller Coaster Kingdom is pretty important.

Mapping Out Bathroom and Food Cart Placement

The placement of your bathrooms and food carts should be directly related to the existing placement of your rides. You don’t want anything hidden off in corners where your visitors cannot find them, so make sure to have a well balanced approach with food carts at a 1:3 ratio on your rides and the bathrooms interspersed between each of the different food carts. If you do this effectively, you can make sure that your customers are able to move along in a sort of assembly line, always happy with the results of their searching.

When to Upgrade Your Carts and Bathrooms

You’ll find that you need food carts almost immediately, even as you open that first ride at Level 1. Bathrooms can wait a little longer, but not much longer. The best time to install a first bathroom is when you put in your second ride after your initial upgrade to the size of your park. If you start installing the necessities that early, you’ll be able to plan the space more effectively and keep from needing to destroy anything later to make room for them.

If you create a good plan when you first start playing Roller Coaster Kingdom, you will not need to worry nearly as much about how the game is going together as you would if you needed to bulldoze half your park to keep your customers happy when you reached Level 11. So, make sure to keep an eye on what you are doing at all times and leave spaces to go back and fill when the time comes for it. If you do this properly, you will save yourself an immense amount of annoyance later on and make upgrades in the latter parts of the game much easier.
