Roller Coaster Kingdom Secrets
There are a number of things that are vital to the operation of Roller Coaster Kingdom. For many, food and beverage carts become a bit of an Achilles heel – something they forget to add to their parks until too late or that they put off in a corner somewhere that they get completely ignored. If you play it correctly though, food and beverage carts can be a tremendous boon to your park. They not only make the visitors happier for having the option, but they provide a much needed boost in revenue that cannot be made with rides alone. Here are some tips to help choose the right carts and locations for those carts to optimize your park in full.
Which Food and Beverage Carts Do You Need?
When you first get started, the easiest carts to put into place are the popcorn and lemonades stands. These two stands are going to offer the exact combination of high demand items and low cost production that you want to keep your visitors happy and flip a profit on them. The best way to set up your carts is at a ratio of one cart for every three rides in the park. That ratio will keep the visitors happy and maintain a good number of stop overs when your visitors walk the paths.
When you reach a high enough level, upgrade your food to hot dogs and your drinks to coffee as these new ones will provide you with more income and higher demand.
Where Should Those Carts be Put?
Cart positioning is relatively simple. Find good spots near the rides themselves along the path and those customers will come pouring in from their rides to eat up your goods. Don’t hide the carts in back corners or behind rides and always make sure to maintain a good eye on the efficiency of each cart. If one doesn’t perform in a given spot, move it somewhere else.
If you have a lot of food and beverage carts in your park you are going to make more coins and make your customers happy. Of course, you want to be sure you hit the right balance without too many carts. Otherwise, you take away all of the money from your customers and miss out on a good chunk of possible XP that you could gain from rides. So, the right balance is vital. If you can hit that balance though, your park will continue to run smoothly for weeks to come – allowing you to focus on sprucing it up and creating the perfect theme park.
